House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, R-Bakersfield, gives us his weekend Easter message

 Rep. Kevin McCarthy:

"Judy and I would like to extend our warmest greetings to all those celebrating the blessings of Easter and Passover.

 "As we gather with friends and family this Easter weekend, we are reminded of God’s great love for us. We give thanks for the many blessings that He has bestowed upon us. And we are renewed in our commitment to faith, hope, and love. Let us celebrate, and may our spirits be lifted and renewed.

 "Please join me also in praying for the members of our community who are away from home this Easter, especially the brave men and women of our armed services. May God protect and guide them in their service and sacrifice and bring them home safely.
